Luckily enough for residents of our apartment community, there are many natural wonders to be found from coast-to-coast, across America’s 3 million miles of land. And, if you want to limit your travels to the state of Georgia, you’d be surprised to find that there are plenty of beautiful sites to feast your eyes upon in the very state you live! Here are our top 4 picks:

Amicalola Falls

Didn’t know if you could find a waterfall in the great state of Georgia? Well, Amicalola Falls in the perfect place for you to chase the dreams you’ve had of experiencing one in person. This Georgian natural wonder is also the tallest cascading waterfall in the Southeast and surrounded by a memorable five-mile trail that leads guests to a secluded backcountry lodge. Ahh, cozy, and comfortable in nature!

Okefenokee Swamp

Yep, there are also swamps in Georgia, adding to its vast and eclectic terrain. In fact, you’ll find North America’s largest blackwater swamp in the 400,000-acre Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. That’s right – Okefenokee Swamp offers breathtaking landscapes that are full of reflective waters, cypress forests, and abundant wildlife within the draped Spanish moss.

Radium Springs

You might have noticed that there’s a lot of record-breaking among these natural wonders, and it doesn’t stop with Radium Springs. Radium Springs is Georgia’s largest natural spring pumping system, generating thousands of gallons of water from an underground cave. Lush gardens and stone pathways surround the water with its surreal turquoise glow, making it one of the state’s most unique attractions.
